Frequently asked questions
Answers based on the current Vibe411 platform logic
This FAQ is written to match the current Vibe411 codebase and live platform behavior, including founder rules, listing flow, reviews, analytics, hosted docs, and moderation.
What is Vibe411?
Vibe411 is a discovery and launch platform for AI-built software creators. Creators get public profiles, structured product listings, product ratings, trust badges, platform and category metadata, and outbound links to their apps, demos, repositories, stores, or websites.
Does Vibe411 host software downloads or process direct software sales?
No. Vibe411 listings link out to the creator's website, app store page, demo, repository, or other external destination. The current platform code does not host executable software files or run a direct marketplace checkout flow.
How do Founding Creator spots work?
Founding Creator spots go to the first 500 creators who both create an account and publish a live listing. Account creation alone does not reserve a founder spot. When a creator qualifies, the account upgrades to Basic free for life, and the founder launch prices for Plus and Pro are locked to that account.
What happens right after I create an account?
New creators start on the Free plan. From there, they can build a public creator profile, submit listings, and compete for a Founding Creator spot by publishing a live listing while founder spots remain.
Can I use AI to help fill out a listing?
Yes. The submit flow lets creators start with basic fields, download a prefilled JSON template and prompt, have AI complete the fields it can verify, and upload the JSON back into Vibe411 to prefill the rest of the listing for manual review.
Can I upload images directly to Vibe411?
Yes. Creator profile images and listing media can be uploaded directly through the dashboard. The platform also still accepts direct image URLs as a fallback, and screenshot counts are limited by plan tier.
How do product ratings and reviews work?
Product ratings are public. Logged-in users can submit one review per account per product, update that review later, and creators cannot review their own products. Creator star ratings are not public; creator reputation is shown through badges like Founding Creator, Verified Creator, Trusted Creator, Complete Profile, Recently Updated, and Open Source Creator.
What analytics are included on each plan?
Analytics are plan-based. Free shows profile views and product views. Basic shows everything in Free, plus outbound clicks and reviews. Plus shows everything in Basic, plus trending score visibility and outbound destination mix. Pro shows everything in Plus, plus attention flags. Public traffic counters are not shown on product or creator pages.
How do docs and policy pages work across the plans?
Free does not include dedicated docs or policy link slots. Basic supports external links for privacy, terms, deletion, support, and help pages. Plus includes the hosted Core Docs Pack for Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Account Deletion, and Support. Pro includes the full hosted docs suite. Free, Basic, and Plus can also add the full Hosted Docs Suite as an account-wide add-on.
Do new listings go live immediately?
Usually, yes. New listings publish immediately unless the creator account is marked as restricted. Restricted creators go to pending review instead. The platform can still auto-flag suspicious listings and logged-in users can submit listing or review warnings.
Can users report a listing or review?
Yes. Logged-in users can submit listing and review warnings from product pages. Reports require a reason code and a written explanation of at least 30 characters, and flagged products are marked for attention inside the system.
What happens if a creator exceeds a plan's live listing limit?
Extra listings are hidden by plan rather than deleted. Creators can later restore hidden listings when plan capacity is available again, which helps preserve listing work instead of forcing a full rebuild.
